Great game and developers that care about the customers :@) nice !!
This is basically a re-skin of the Pocket Kingdoms 2 map of the same name, but lovingly developed for modern mobile devices. All of the games graphics have been completely redone from scratch over 4 years. Textures are sharp, colors pop, and the world comes to life in a way that PK2 never quite did. "Fat finger" mode appears to be gone, but on my iPhone 5 the game is more responsive and hitboxes seem more precise, and Im not missing it. So the game an upgrade from top to bottom - well worth the money. There are also three difficulty levels now. In-app purchases are limited to gold in case you are totally stuck, so theyre more than optional, theyre an aid that can and should be avoided, unless you want to tip the devs of course. Speaking of the devs, the game still pauses at the end of the "day" (although very briefly), which tells me that that its built on an engine designed for a new Pocket Kingdoms game. I dearly hope that project ends up happening, because there is nothing better than having a true Heroes of Might and Magic clone on my phone. For the Ironfists!
Its gorgeous map beckons one to explore. It plays very smoothly. Im having the kind of fun playing it that i dont come across that often in my iPad gaming. I can tell because im having a hard time putting it down and when I do stop playing for a while, I cant wait to dive back in. This is the kind of game that gives me hope that ipad gaming is not only here to stay, its flourishing.
Ive been following this project since 2007 when iphone didnt even exist. This latest game is what the developer really always wanted to make. Its modern, runs fast. interface is pixel perfect and precise. Graphics is outstanding, and so is music. 5 stars for you guys, you really deserve it.
I like the storyline approach to what is typically a sandbox game. The one thing I dont like with the developers approach to this series is the ability of enemy units to pass by your units freely. And makes it impossible for you to protect your rear units. I do get occasional crashes. iPhone 4s iOS updated fully as of 26 nov 2015.
I thought RB would be a better version of palm kingdoms, its nothing like that. The game is really hard especially without buying the in app purchases, the story line and whole point of what youre trying to accomplish is unclear. It can take hours to figure out what the game wants you to do, and until, you do that you cant move on. Im not that happy with this game
